The Zoo

So yesterday we took the kids to the zoo. It was a lovely day. As I walked around the zoo with my family I couldn’t help but notice how well behaved my children were and it filled me with joy and pride for them. Favorite moment yesterday: sitting in the fresh green grass blowing bubbles for my Jade while Travis and Austin threw the football around behind us .Oh happy day, warm sun, good company, makes my heart smile.

Granola

Favorite moment today: spent the morning in the kitchen with some of the cutest kitchen helpers ever. Made a new recipe for granola I got from my friend Jamie http://looksgoodinpolkadots.wordpress.com added some chocolate cranberries ‘and raisins to it are so yummy. Thank you Jamie!

LEGEND OF THE LEPRECHAUNS

Full of magic and trickery, the leprechauns remain in their hidden world until the night before St. Patrick's Day. On that one night of the year they appear throughout the world to dance and sing and frolic.

Disguising themselves as leaves and grass, and sounding like the wind and the crickets, they come and go unnoticed.

However, it is said that if a decorated treasure box is left empty under the moon, the leprechauns must fill the box with gold or jewels or gifts. But then they will hide the filled box in the most unlikely of places.

If the box is found on St. Patrick's Day, the treasure remains in our world. If not, the leprechauns may retrieve what is rightfully theirs. And though the leprechauns are very clever, it is not impossible to find the treasure because, unknowingly, leprechauns often leave a trail of greenery behind them.

The sun makes me happy !

Today was wonderful the sun was shining the kids were happy to be playing outside. I really feel blessed today. I love my job J

The Beach

Spent the day emerged in gods glory... went to the beach my very favorite place. The swoosh and roar of the ocean... the feel of the ruff sand the smell of salt water and fish... the squawk of the sea gulls circling over head .. . Favorite moments today... Austin and his dragon training whip made of sea weed... and jade and her ducks that bite a.k.a. sea gulls. Such a wonderful trip to the beach

Positive Changes

So I did it... I made some positive changes for my family’s food health. Changed our oil to 100% olive oil, changed our flour to 100% stone ground Bob’s red mill wheat flour. Our salt was changed a few weeks ago to sea salt .our sour cream and butter is now real sour cream and butter, yummy. I bought no noodles and tons of veg /meat. We are working on our health J

Dinosaur

So the kids picked up jades room earlier and Addy made her bed. As I’m tucking her into bed I was admiring what a great job she did and I see in between all jades dolls a T Rex dinosaur.. Only Addy would tuck a dinosaur in with the dolls.. Love her

Jades frying pan

Favorite moment yesterday was … jade and her frying pan .she loves the movie tangled … so we went about our day carrying the frying pan everywhere , it was really cute till she wacked her friend with it .. Me: jade we don’t whack our friends with frying pans. Jade:  shouts at me …but mommy I repunzel
